Who We Are

Colombia’s Network of Convention & Visitors Bureaux was created in 2020 with the purpose of joining efforts to promote the relationship between Colombia’s convention bureaux, as well as to strengthen the events and meetings tourism industry.

Convention bureaux are key players in reactivating the events and meetings industry, being the entities in charge of promoting and positioning destinations in order to attract national and international events. They also contribute to improving the competitiveness of cities through ongoing training, generating new investments and business opportunities, as well as fostering linkages with local, national, and foreign businesses.

This initiative aims to increase the visibility of the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry as well as represent the sector before various national bodies, in order to promote actions and influence public policies that will help strengthen the sector.
